Patchman Music offers TWO amazing wind controller soundbanks for the Korg M1 Legacy Edition softsynth for Mac and PC. These new soundbanks were expertly programmed by professional wind controller player / sound designer Matt Traum. These two soundbanks were designed specifically to be controlled with a wind controller or breath controller. Each soundbank contains 100 Programs and 100 Combis for a combined total of 400 new wind controller sounds. Each soundbank features a wide variety of sounds- from beautifully expressive individual solo instruments to massive chorded layers like those made popular by Michael Brecker.

| Attention: Please note that these sounds require that you send Aftertouch from a wind controller or breath controller. Breath controller users and WX5, WX11, and WindJamm'r users will need to use a device such as the MIDI Solutions Event Processor or Anatek's Pocket Mapper or Wind Machine to remap breath controller data to aftertouch. Unlike our other wind controller banks, this soundbank is set up to respond to aftertouch data (not breath controller data) because the M1 Legacy Edition Softsynth is not capable of directly responding to breath controller data. WX5, WX7, WX11,WindJamm'r, Akai EWI, EWI SOLO, EWI5000, EWI4000s, EVI, MIDI EVI,
MDT, NuEVI, NuRAD, Aodyo Sylphyo, Roland Aerophone, or Softwind Synthophone. These highly expressive sounds
are also fantastic for keyboardists when used with a breath controller such as the Yamaha BC1,
BC2, or BC3 plugged into a keyboard equipped
with a breath controller input, or plugged into a device such
as the MIDI
Solutions Breath Controller Box or the Anatek Wind Machine
(out of production).
These sounds require a wind controller or breath controller capable of sending AFTERTOUCH data for proper use. WX5 / WX11 / WindJamm'r users and Yamaha breath controller users should contact Matt at Patchman Music as we offer a custom-programmed convertor box that will convert breath controller data into aftertouch data. Casio DH-100 / DH-200 OWNERS! Since these sounds are

On Volume 1 I think Tenor Sax, Dbl Reed, Flute, Pan Flute, and Trumpet are a good place to start. On Volume 2 I like Clarinet2, Alto Sax2, Pan Flute, Flute, and Hard Flute - all these have noise giving a breathy sound. Clarinet2... I think it gives me a better sound that any of the many Garritan clarinet patches that I have. I don't get bored with the sounds even when I play them for an extended period."
