Patchman Music is proud to announce new wind controller / breath controller softsynth and included soundbank for Native Instruments Reaktor 5 and higher.
Patchman Music has released a brand new custom-designed Reaktor synth and patch set specially designed to be controlled with a wind controller or breath controller. This new Reaktor synth and soundset has been specifically programmed for use with (and requires that you own and have installed) Native Instruments Reaktor 5 or higher.
The Patchman Music WindSynth for Reaktor 5 or higher has been designed to be an extremely responsive and fat sounding analog type synth with specific parameters specially chosen and implemented for wind controller and breath controller users. This is a very unique softsynth that has many unusual and esoteric features and functions. At the top of the synth you will see a set of meters and controls that enable the user to confirm that their controllers are sending the correct data. Hot spot pop-ups explain the functions as you move the cursor over the various areas in the softsynth. Click on the thumbnail of the WindSynth above to see it at full size.
PLEASE NOTE: This Reaktor SoftSynth requires that you already own and have installed the full version Native Instruments Reaktor 5 or higher on your computer. This Reaktor Synth will NOT work with Reaktor Player. This Reaktor synth does NOT load inside a wind controller or breath controller. It is run from within Native Instruments Reaktor on your computer and then controlled with a wind controller or breath controller.
This new Patchman Music Reaktor softsynth was specifically designed and expertly programmed by professional wind controller player / master wind controller sound designer Matt Traum to be controlled with a wind controller such as the Akai EWI SOLO, EWI5000, EWI4000s, EWI USB, EWI1000/EVI1000, MIDI EVI, NuEVI, NuRAD, Casio DH-100/DH-200 series, Aodyo Sylphyo, Roland Aerophone, Yamaha
WX5, WX7, WX11, WindJamm'r, MDT, Softwind Synthophone, etc... The highly expressive Reaktor Synth and sounds
are also fantastic for keyboardists when used with a breath controller such as the Yamaha BC1,
BC2, or BC3a, TEControl Breath Controllers, MRT Audio Breath Controller, Kelfar BCK-1 Breath Controller, etc...
Every sound in this softsynth has been fully optimized for use with a wind controller and breath controller. No further editing is needed. Just load up this softsynth into Reaktor 5 or higher (not included) and select one of the included breath controlled sounds and start playing your wind controller or breath controller with the wonderful expression you have come to expect from Patchman Music- the world leader in wind controller sound design. Each patch that is included with this soft synth has been optimized for full breath expression with fully programmed patch parameters tweaked to respond correctly to your breath! No additional programming is needed so you can dive in play. Of course you can also make any adjustments you wish quickly and easily. Every parameter is user editable!

Patchman Music WindSynth for Native Instruments Reaktor is a brand new softsynth designed by wind controller guru Matt Traum of Patchman Music. The Patchman Music Reaktor WindSynth is a designed specifically to be controlled by a wind controller or breath controller to emulate analog type sounds.
Included with WindSynth for Reaktor are 40 new sounds completely controlled by your breath. These sounds have been specially programmed for WindSynth for Reaktor by wind controller guru Matt Traum and optimized to respond to a wind controller or breath controller. Tonguing subtly controls the attack of the sound. Players can add vibrato via the bite sensor on their wind controller or breath controller- just like on an acoustic horn. Mod wheel is not used to add vibrato. Instead, you can adjust vibrato level to respond to the breath level. The legato implementation is superb making these sounds so much fun to play. Tasty effects have been programmed as well. This Patchman Music WindSynth for Reaktor is ready to be loaded into Reaktor 5 or higher and played. No user tweaking is needed. We've done all the work for you!

"I was curious, and ordered the Patchman WindSynth for Reaktor. I was not disappointed: There are 40 sounds with a great diversity (I like the guitarlike-sounds most). All of them react well in combination with the EWI. The sound of most of the patches is richer and more complex. In comparison with the internal sounds of the EWI, the sounds 'have more dirt' (in a positive sense); they are not so clinical."
