Please Note: These soundbanks have been specially designed for use with a wind controller or breath controller and thus require one of these devices for proper use. These sounds require breath controller data (MIDI continuous controller #2) in order to make any sound. If you do not have a wind controller or breath controller you will probably not be able to use these sounds. |
Patchman Music WindSynth for Native Instruments Reaktor is a brand new softsynth designed by wind controller guru Matt Traum of Patchman Music. The Patchman Music Reaktor WindSynth is a designed specifically to be controlled by a wind controller or breath controller to emulate analog type sounds.
Included with WindSynth for Reaktor are 40 new sounds completely controlled by your breath. These sounds have been specially programmed for WindSynth for Reaktor by wind controller guru Matt Traum and optimized to respond to a wind controller or breath controller. Tonguing subtly controls the attack of the sound. Players can add vibrato via the bite sensor on their wind controller or breath controller- just like on an acoustic horn. Mod wheel is not used to add vibrato. Instead, you can adjust vibrato level to respond to the breath level. The legato implementation is superb making these sounds so much fun to play. Tasty effects have been programmed as well. This Patchman Music WindSynth for Reaktor is ready to be loaded into Reaktor 5 or higher and played. No user tweaking is needed. We've done all the work for you!
Formats: This WindSynth for Reaktor 5 SoftSynth and sound set are emailed as a zipped file. Unzip the file and you will find the Reaktor softsynth with the sounds in it which can be run directly from within Native Instrument Reaktor 5 or higher. Yes, this softsynth can be emailed anywhere in the world! Order here!
Please note that in order to use this softsynth you will need to own the FULL VERSION of Native Instruments Reaktor 5 or higher. This softsynth is NOT compatible with Reaktor Player. This softsynth is NOT compatible with older versions of Reaktor. Make sure you understand these requirements before ordering as there are no returns, refunds, or exchanges on software sales. Email Matt at Patchman Music if you have any questions before placing your order.

"Hi Matt, thank you for the great Reaktor sounds. Really enjoying the Reaktor bank. You've got these sounds working well. Especially noticing how sweet they sound in the higher octaves. Great dynamic range - esp. enjoy the smoothness in the softer dynamics. Portamento is fun, interesting and usable. Timbral change also feels great. In short, these sounds provide intimate control, making it a joy to practice. This bank feels like I imagine an analog wind synth would play like. Take care."
"Hey Matt, I absolutely love this patch for Reaktor, thank you so much for putting this plug-in together. I'm excited to see what music I can make with it :)"
"Hi Matt, What can I say? The WindSynth is just perfect! It sounds fat and warm and a bit dirty. Exactly what I've been looking for. And with my M1 MacBook Pro there is nearly no latency. Thanks again!"
"I was curious, and ordered the Patchman WindSynth for Reaktor. I was not disappointed: There are 40 sounds with a great diversity (I like the guitarlike-sounds most). All of them react well in combination with the EWI. The sound of most of the patches is richer and more complex. In comparison with the internal sounds of the EWI, the sounds 'have more dirt' (in a positive sense); they are not so clinical."
The synth is fully editable. Summarized, I can recommend Matt's Reaktor-synth and the patches."I just purchased Matt's Reaktor Wind Synth and absolutely love it. Very stunning, very warm, and evokes pleasant emotions."
"Matt -- Holy cow, what a fabulous instrument! Thanks for the chance to play with it. Thanks again, and best regards!"
