Wind Controller #1 - PATCHMAN MUSIC's Volume 1 for the Yamaha WT11 wind controller sound module contains 32 Performances and 32 Voices specially designed by wind controller expert Matt Traum to be played with a wind controller such as the WX5, WX7, WX11, WindJamm'r, EVI, MIDI EVI, Akai EWI and EVI, EWI4000s, MDT, or Synthophone. Keyboardists can also enjoy these highly expressive sounds by using a Yamaha BC1, BC2, or BC3 breath controller plugged into a device such as the MIDI Solutions Breath Controller Box or Anatek Wind Machine (out of production).

These highly responsive professional sounds are of much higher quality than the stock WT11 sounds. This soundbank features lots of highly expressive ensemble and solo timbres, acoustic emulations, breathy wind instruments, and killer synth leads. This soundbank features EVI trumpet, soundtrack, dragnet, jazz chord lead, acoustic guitar, mondo bass, Breckery lead, Lyle leads, clarinet, Baroque ensemble, piccolo trumpet, bow cello, Chick lead, English horn, mallet flute, and more! Please Note: This soundbank is specially designed for use with a wind controller or breath controller and thus requires one of these devices for proper use. These sounds require MIDI continuous controller #2 (breath controller) in order to make any sound. If you do not have a wind controller or breath controller you will probably not be able to use these sounds.

But I have to say regarding the EWI4000s- that this time you've really outdone yourself! I like the instrument a lot even though I'm still more used to the feel of my trusty WX7. And although I was happy to have an axe that could travel with its own sounds, most of those were pretty dull and lifeless.
