Protec Hard Case (Fits all Akai EWI, Yamaha WX & EVI models)

This is the case that Patchman Music recommends for the Akai EWI4000s and EWI USB. Although it was originally designed for a soprano sax, this Protec case can be used with all Akai EWI, Yamaha WX, and EVI models. This protective lightweight PRO PAC features three movable padded blocks that can be positioned for optimum full body support of the instrument. Convenient exterior pocket with built-in organizer and shoulder strap. This is a beautiful hard case and we strongly recommend it for all EWI4000s and EWI USB owners (always use the mouthpiece cap when transporting in the case to protect the delicate bite sensor). Akai MP9 AC Adaptor for EWI4000S

This is the factory AC adaptor for the EWI4000s. Rated 9 volt DC output at 400ma, center is negative (-). Patchman Music no longer stocks this unit. We recommend the Boss PSA-120s (see above).

Replacement for Akai EW3000m AC Adaptor Power Supply

The Akai model replacement AC Adaptor for the Akai EWI3000m has long been discontinued but Patchman Music now offers a 100% compatible adaptor. We have tested this model and it works perfectly with the Akai EWI3000m as well as the Yamaha WT11, RY30, TG100, and others. This adaptor is actually BETTER than the original Akai brand power supply as it is smaller, lighter, more powerful, and accepts a wider range of input voltage (universal). This adaptor features 115-230V @ 47-63 Hz AC input, 15v 800ma DC output, 2.1mm connector, and a 4.5-foot cable. Tip / center is positive.

YAMAHA Recorder Cream

New 2 gram vial of genuine Yamaha Recorder Cream for use on the internal rubber mouthpiece seals on the EWI3000, EWI3020, WX5, WX11, or WX7. Use this cream regularly on the internal area of the rubber mouthpiece parts to protect, lubricate, maintain softness, and reduce aging and cracking. NOT for use on key switches or on the outside of the mouthpiece. Put a little on the inside of the mouthpiece and on the rubber gasket where the mouthpiece slides on and meets the body to allow easy future removal of the mouthpiece. It helps keep the rubber gasket moisturized to prevent it from cracking and tearing Don't leave home without it! Highly recommended. (Not an Akai product).

Akai EWI4000s / EWI USB Neck Strap

New Akai brand Neck Strap for the Akai EWI series wind controllers. This neck strap works with the Akai EWI series wind controllers including the Akai EWI1000, EWI3020, EWI3000, EWI4000s, and EWI USB. Features a slide to adjust length. This is the same Akai model neck strap that ships in the box with the Akai EWI. Can also be used with the Yamaha WX7, WX5, and WX11. Cannot be used with the Casio DH-100, DH-200, or DH-800 (too long, hook too thick).

It never hurts to have an extra neckstrap so grab one while they are still available.

YAMAHA WX Soft Pouch (Also fits the EWI USB, EWI3000, EWI3020)

Though not an Akai product, this Yamaha WX Soft Pouch fits the Akai EWI USB, EWI3000, and EWI3020 wind controllers quite well. Since no case was ever designed specifically for these EWIs, this soft pouch can help protect them from damage.

This is a brand new, factory original soft pouch that is designed specifically for the Yamaha WX series wind controllers but it can also be used with the Akai EWI USB, EWI3000 and EWI3020 wind controllers.

PLEASE NOTE: This Soft Pouch DOES NOT fit the larger EWI4000s, sorry.

It is a nice black leather-like carrying pouch featuring a moderate amount of padding, a fold-over flap on top with a Velcro fastener, and a white Yamaha logo.
