Korg iS35 Arranger Keyboard - PRICE REDUCED!!!

I can't even begin to tell you how incredibly fun and extremely useful this arranger keyboard is! The Korg iS35 Personal Arranger keyboard workstation is very powerful and does many things. Aside from being a full blown programmable synth (along the lines of a Korg M1), it is very useful for generating backing tracks in realtime at a gig to generate the band parts live and also for quickly generating Standard Midifiles that can be easily saved to disk and played on other GM synths. Or you can record the audio from it and save the audio as an mp3 to be played on a iPod type device to back up your solo gig! You could go out by yourself and sound like a full production with this beast. The Korg iS35 follows the chords you are playing and generates very hip backing tracks live. The styles can be modified and new ones can be loaded via its built in floppy so you can really customize this workstation to YOUR specific tastes.

This keyboard is not a boom-chuk-boom-chuk cornball toy. It sounds 100% professional and extremely high quality. The styles that are built in are the best in this genre of keyboard. Korg is clearly the leader in this field. The Korg iS35 is similar to their earlier Korg is40 model but it adds several features including a Mic input for vocals with built in harmonizer that follows your chords in realtime for live harmonies on the spot, as well as a guitar/instrument input with its own digital effects section! So it follows the chords you are playing and generates harmony vocal parts along with your singing. The built-in two way (woofer/tweeter) stereo speakers with bass ports really kick the sound out too.

Other features include a built in floppy drive to store and load your patches, styles, and songs, Korg's acclaimed AI2 synthesis with up to 32 note polyphony, aftertouch keyboard, various harmonizer modes, 320 patches, 128 styles, joystick, and various pedal inputs. Yamaha WX5 MIDI Wind Controller - JUST ADDED!

Here is a Yamaha WX5 wind controller. The WX5 is the current model Yamaha wind controller. It is great because it has a lot of MIDI control options, a MIDI OUT right on the body of the WX5 (making MIDI wireless a possibility), and it can be powered any of 3 ways; via PA-130 AC adaptor (not included- but available for $20 extra), via a Yamaha BT7/WT11/MFC10 (not included), or via 6 AAA batteries (not included) installed inside the body of the instrument. This WX5 has been tested and calibrated to play properly right out of the box by wind controller expert Matt Traum in the Patchman Music wind controller lab. Yamaha WX7 MIDI Wind Controller - PRICE REDUCED!!!

Here is an Excellent Condition, hard to find Yamaha WX7 sax-style MIDI Wind Controller. We have put it through our wind controller shop and checked it out completely. The instrument looks great. This WX7 has been tested and calibrated by wind controller expert Matt Traum in the Patchman Music wind controller lab (www.patchmanmusic.com) to work correctly right out of the box. Everything works great. If you have a VL70-m, WT11, or MFC10 then you simply need to use a Yamaha WX Extension Cable to connect to these devices. Otherwise you will need the Yamaha BT7 (no longer in production) which converts the WX signal into a MIDI OUT. Please contact Matt at Patchman Music if you have any questions about what might be required to use this wind controller. Many serious wind controller players maintain the WX7 is the finest wind controller Yamaha ever produced. The WX7 seems like it was built to last and withstand professional use. The body is made of metal compared to plastic found on the other two WX models.

Very Hard To Find! - Yamaha BT7 Wind Controller Battery Pack / MIDI Adaptor

This Yamaha BT7 belt pack adds several useful features to the Yamaha WX7, WX11 and WX5. First, it provides power to the WX7/11/5 either by way of 6 internal AA batteries or an optional AC adaptor. Second, it provides a MIDI OUT connector so you can use the WX7/11/5 to control any MIDI synth via MIDI. Without the BT7 you would need to plug the WX7/11/5 into a device featuring a WX input jack such as the WT11, VL70-m, or MFC10. The Yamaha BT7 also will allow WX7 and WX11 owners the ability to GO WIRELESS by adding the Midi Jet Pro wireless MIDI system! It features a power switch, MIDI OUT jack, a 10-12v DC input connector for use with an optional AC adaptor (Yamaha model PA-130, PA-1, PA-1B, or PA-3c - not included- available here), and a 4.5 foot connector cable which connects to the WX11, WX7 or WX5. Yamaha WT11 FM Wind Controller Synth Module w/Patchman Music Wind Controller Soundbank - PRICE REDUCED!!!

Here is a Yamaha WT11 FM Wind Controller sound module with the Patchman Music WT11 Volume 1 soundbank pre-installed (a $40 value). The Yamaha WT11 features 96 Preset patches, 32 User patch memories, 10 built-in digital effects, plus a WX IN jack for directly connecting a WX5, WX7, or WX11 wind controller (not included). This FM synth can also be controlled via MIDI from any wind controller or keyboard. It has built-in digital effects (reverb, delay, distortion, etc), 1/4" stereo outputs, 1/4" Footpedal INC and DEC jacks, headphone out, cassette port, MIDI IN/OUT/THRU.

EXTREMELY RARE!! Steiner / Crumar EVI Calibrated by EVI Guru Matt Traum - PRICE REDUCED!!!

Attention BRASS players! Here is a very rare Crumar EVI brass-style analog wind controller designed by the great Nyle Steiner, marketed in the early 1980's by the Italian company Crumar, and recently restored and calibrated and tweaked by EVI Guru and player Matt Traum at Patchman Music. This vintage EVI is over 30 years old and comes from the personal collection of EVI player Matt Traum who still plays this model because of the wonderful silky-smooth fat analog sound it produces.

This Crumar EVI is strictly analog- there are no MIDI capabilities on this unit. Since it is TRUE ANALOG, it has an incredibly smooth and responsive sound. You can actually hum while playing and the breath sensor is so fast that it will modulate the sound coming from the synth! The Crumar EVI has an incredibly expressive and beautiful sound. You can listen to numerous mp3 clips of the Crumar EVI in action here. The Crumar EVI has a 6+ octave range and even more range is available by changing the TUNE knob. Akai EWI1000 & EWV2000 Wind Controller System w/ $90 Patchman Music Soundbank - PRICE REDUCED!!!

This is the original model Akai EWI WOODWIND STYLE featuring the super-smooth sounding REAL ANALOG EWV2000 analog synth module. Everything has been professionally cleaned, tweaked, and checked out in the Patchman Music wind controller lab (www.patchmanmusic.com) by wind controller expert Matt Traum. The EWI1000 controller is in decent 100% working condition. This system is in great shape. We have completely checked out everything here at Patchman Music and it all works as it is supposed to. There is about $300 worth of work and parts in this horn including a custom rebuilt bite sensor, a fresh backup battery and battery holder mod, and calibration done here at Patchman Music by Matt Traum. The bite and breath sensors have been adjusted by Matt Traum and they work great.

The rack mountable EWV2000 analog synth module is in excellent condition with no major dings in it. We have modified the EWV2000 by installing an internal backup battery clip and a backup battery (a $150 value). This EWV2000 has the latest version OS chip installed which includes variable tongued velocity. The EWV2000 has excellent chord capabilities unlike some of the later EWI modules. It can trigger 4 note chords externally via MIDI. Internally, the EWV2000 has 2 REAL ANALOG oscillators and 2 REAL ANALOG filters per patch! It also has the wonderful FORMANT FILTER for added timbral variations which was missing in some later EWI modules. RARE!! Yamaha MFC2 Wind Controller Footpedal - PRICE REDUCED!!!

Here is your chance to grab one of these very rare and unique wind controller footpedal MIDI processors reburished by Matt Traum at Patchman Music! The Yamaha MFC2 is a unique and special foot controller specifically designed for wind controller players. Yes, there are other MIDI Footpedals on the market, but this is the only one ever made with the unique wind controller sustain mode! This allows you to SUSTAIN A BREATH CONTROLLED NOTE!! Note that is more complicated than a simple sustain pedal since the breath level has to be sustained as well and this feature is unique to the MFC2. No other footpedal can do this. Patchman Music has also professionally installed an internal backup battery clip and a fresh back up battery! (a $125+ service job!). The MFC2 can also send any of 30 different Programs Changes per Preset group- and there are 8 Preset groups. In addition, each program number has 6 different parameters which can be programmed to add new functions to the wind controller. It is possible to control two different MIDI channels - and thus two different voices (if your sound module does this) - simultaneously but in slightly different ways. Even though this book was written in 1987, the concepts are still very usable today. Also included is the original unopened(!) audio/data cassette that contains some amazing audio demos of Sal Gallina playing these sounds on his WX7 as well as the patch data for the TX81Z soundbank contained in the book.

This book is in very good condition (it appears to be unused) with only some minor tears from sitting on a shelf etc. The book has not been written in. The included cassette is unused. You probably won't find this rare item anywhere else so grab it while you can!

Here is the mixer that was the center of the studio here at Patchman Music for many years- the Soundcraft Spirit 328. This mixer was purchased after an exhaustive search for the right balance of inputs, outputs, features, sound, and ease of use.

This mixer is superb in every way. It has complete recall of all parameters so you can set up your mix and save all the settings- a great feature for a live band as well. Other features include up to 42 inputs at mixdown, 8-buses, 16 mic/line inputs with switchable phantom power, 5 stereo inputs, 16 digital tape returns on ADAT Optical and TDIF formats. It is also possible to record 16 seperate tracks at once to your DAW via 2 ADAT optical or TDIF outs which are all built-in. This trumpet gig bag is a basic soft carrying bag for a trumpet. It appears to be made out of cordura nylon. It's in pretty good shape. It features a pocket on the side with a zipper to hold some small accessories (mouthpieces, pencils, etc...). It is black and has a handle and hooks for a shoulder strap (not shown but it IS included). The padding is not terribly thick (this is not a hard shell type case) but it is very lightweight and will be perfect for carrying around your horn on short trips between rehearsals.

RARE!! Roland EM-101 Sound Plus MIDI Sound Module - PRICE REDUCED!!!

Here is a SUPER RARE Roland EM-101 Sound Plus MIDI Sound Module. This an early vintage MIDI sound module from approximately 1985-1986.

The Roland EM-101 is an interesting module with some classic sweet sounding analog type sounds built-in. Apparently it's like a Roland Juno-106 with only 1 VCF across all the notes. With its analog filter, it has a very warm and pleasing sound.

The front panel has switches for Ensemble/Solo which selects a sound from either the top row or bottom row. The top row sounds are 8 note polyphonic, the bottom row sounds are monophoninc with top note priority. The top row (polyphonic) sounds are: Strings 1, Strings 2, Organ 1, Organ 2, Organ 3, Brass 1, Brass 2, and Synth. The bottom row (monophonic) sounds are: Bass 1, Bass 2, Cello, Clarinet, Flute, Violin, Synth 1, and Synth 2. There is also a Brilliance switch which allows you to adjust the brilliance/brightness of the bottom row/monophonic sounds only (hold down the Brilliance switch and use the patch select buttons to set the brilliance level). There is also a front panel power switch and sliders for Volume, Dynamics (adjusts the response to MIDI velocity including optional reversed response!), and Attack (the attack time of the sound). The rear panel has MIDI IN, MIDI THRU, a Fine Tune knob, a 1/4" Remote jack, a switch for High/Low output level, Stereo 1/4" output jacks, and a 1/4" Mix In jack. Everything on this module has been checked out by Matt Traum here at Patchman Music and works well. The unit looks great and plays in tune- amazing for analog synth from 1985!
