This Yamaha WX11 is a professional level sax-style wind controller. This instrument is in Very Good Condition. Everything has been checked out and works great. It has been cleaned, tested, and adjusted by expert wind controller technician Matt Traum in the Patchman Music wind controller lab (www.patchmanmusic.com)- (a $75 value). The mouthpiece has some bite indentations but is perfectly usable. A new WX11 mouthpiece is available here for an extra charge. PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a WT11, VL70-m, or MFC10, then you will need a Yamaha BT7 Wind Controller Battery Pack to supply power to the WX11 and to provide a MIDI OUT jack. Yamaha WX5 MIDI Wind Controller with Padded Pouch - PRICE REDUCED!!!
Here is an excellent condition Yamaha WX5 wind controller in original Yamaha box with the original Yamaha WX5 Padded Pouch. The WX5 is the current model Yamaha wind controller. It is great because it features tons of MIDI control features, a MIDI OUT right on the body of the WX5 (making MIDI wireless a possibility), and it can be powered any of 3 ways; via PA-130 AC adaptor (not included- but available for $20 extra), via a Yamaha BT7/WT11/MFC10 (not included), or via 6 AAA batteries (not included) installed inside the body of the instrument. RARE!! TOA D3 Rack Mount Mixer - THE BEST wind controller gig rig mixer!
This is the model mixer I personally
use in my wind controller gig rig at Patchman Music. After a
long search at every rack mount mixer ever made, I concluded
that this is the best possible mixer for my situation. Click
here for a quick picture of my wind controller gig rig which
is based around this TOA mixer. The TOA D-3 mixer in the
bottom position in this rack. The TOA D3 mixer is the only mixer
I could find anywhere that had the exact features I needed for
my particular wind controller rig. It is a single space rack
mount mixer 
featuring
a main stereo out with seperate volume knobs for Left and Right.
Then, most importantly, it has a totally seperate 1/4"
MONO Sum Output which is used to feed my powered monitor.
There is a seperate volume knob for the SUM OUT
(a mono output) which DOES NOT affect the level going to the
Main Outputs. Having a seperate volume knob to control this monitor
output allows me to have complete and independent control over
my own monitor which I found to be ultra important when gigging.
This mixer also has a 1/4" stereo headphone jack on the
front also with a seperate volume knob for it. It has 4 STEREO
inputs (2 inputs on each) with volume, pan, high and low
eq, and effects send on each. Each of the 4 main ins also has
a DIRECT OUTPUT phono jack and a phono Input jack as well.
Input number 4 also accepts a phantom powered mic complete with
15v switchable phantom power and XLR jack! I use the Mic input
for my vocal/trumpet mic. It has stereo effects returns and stereo
tape returns (again both with knobs), LED clip indicators on
each input plus overall clip LED, and an AC cord (no wall wart!).
These are really excellent sounding mixers. They are clean and
the EQ sounds great. They seem to be designed exactly for this
type of application. This unit shows signs of use (scratches,
scuffs, marks) but everything has been checked here at Patchman
Music and it works great! (The extra time and work we put
into this mixer to check it out and refurbish it in our shop
before we sell it is worth at least $75.) This sale includes
the TOA D3 rackmount mixer and a copy of the Instruction Manual.
Unfortunately, these units have been out of production for a
long time and are very hard to find so grab it while you can!

Mackie MicroSeries 1202 Mixer - JUST ADDED!
Here is an excellent
condition Mackie MicroSeries 1202 Mixer with original manual
and AC power cable. This mixer is in great shape and has been
checked out here by Matt
Traum at Patchman Music. This is a SUPERB SOUNDING, compact
mixer. One really great feature on this unit is the wonderful
sound quality you get from its headphone jack. So it's a great
headphone sub-mixer. Mackie mixers are also known for their excellent
sounding EQs and this unit won't let you down there either. This
MicroSeries 1202 Mixer works and sounds great in a wind controller
rig.

Roland EM-101 Sound Plus MIDI

Here is a SUPER RARE Roland EM-101 Sound Plus MIDI Sound Module. This an early vintage MIDI sound module from approximately 1985-1986.
The Roland EM-101 is an interesting module with some classic sweet sounding analog type sounds built-in. Apparently it's like a Roland Juno-106 with only 1 VCF across all the notes. With its analog filter, it has a very warm and pleasing sound.
The front panel has switches for Ensemble/Solo which selects a sound from either the top row or bottom row. The top row sounds are 8 note polyphonic, the bottom row sounds are monophoninc with top note priority. The top row (polyphonic) sounds are: Strings 1, Strings 2, Organ 1, Organ 2, Organ 3, Brass 1, Brass 2, and Synth. The bottom row (monophonic) sounds are: Bass 1, Bass 2, Cello, Clarinet, Flute, Violin, Synth 1, and Synth 2. There is also a Brilliance switch which allows you to adjust the brilliance/brightness of the bottom row/monophonic sounds only (hold down the Brilliance switch and use the patch select buttons to set the brilliance level). There is also a front panel power switch and sliders for Volume, Dynamics (adjusts the response to MIDI velocity including optional reversed response!), and Attack (the attack time of the sound). The rear panel has MIDI IN, MIDI THRU, a Fine Tune knob, a 1/4" Remote jack, a switch for High/Low output level, Stereo 1/4" output jacks, and a 1/4" Mix In jack. Everything on this module has been checked out by Matt Traum here at Patchman Music and works well. The unit looks great and plays in tune- amazing for analog synth from 1985! This is definitely a collector's item and probably a modder's / circuit bender's delight. This sale includes Roland EM-101 MIDI module and attached AC power cable.

EW20 WindJamm'r Wind Controller System
The Yamaha WindJamm'r, also known as the EW20, is a great starter wind controller system as well as a great system for use in schools. All you need to add is either a pair of headphones or an external amp and you have an excellent wind controller system for the beginning to intermediate player. This system consists of the woodwind-like controller and an FM-based synth module with built-in digital effects (5 types). The synth module features 64 Internal FM voices. It also features special effects such as reverb, octave, vibrato, and pitchbend. You also have complete control over a variety of other functions including fine tuning (A=438 to A=445), fingering (saxophone or recorder fingerings are possible!) and easy automatic transposition to any key! You can even control scales to be Even-tempered or Natural (Werckmeister)! The WindJamm'r Sound Module makes it easy to experiment with sounds and effects and allows you to easily edit, store, and recall up to 32 combinations of Voices and Effects in its Performance Mode. The WindJamm'r is very simple to operate and easy to learn. A headphone jack on the rear of the Sound Module allows you to practice and play without disturbing others. There are also two 1/4" stereo outputs for plugging it into an amplifier. Also on the rear of the module are MIDI IN, MIDI OUT, and MIDI THRU jacks for controlling other synths. Also there are two 1/4" footswitch jacks for changing patches, adding sustain, or changing octave with footswitches (FC5 footswitches not included but available here). The breath sensor can be set to send either breath controller data (cc#2) or MIDI Volume data (cc#7) via the MIDI OUT jack to control additional external synths if desired. The WindJamm'r does not have a reed in the mouthpiece like other wind controllers. Instead, pitchbend and vibrato are added by way of a thumb lever under the right hand thumb. Two modes are available for the thumb lever- one mode sends pitchbend messages (your choice of up OR down- not both), and the other mode sends mod wheel messages (CC#1) messages for vibrato. One of the best features of the WindJamm'r is what it DOESN'T have- that is, there is no bulky wall wart power supply! It simply has a built-in AC power cord! Everything has been checked out in the Patchman Music lab (www.patchmanmusic.com). The mouthpiece has a lot of bite marks on it but it is still 100% functional. Other than that, it looks and works great. Included in this sale is the original 47 page Operator's Manual as well as the 8 Page EVI1000 Operator's Manual. Superb Condition with original boxes! This complete system is ready to play right out of the box! All you need is an amp to plug it into (or a pair of headphones) and a 1/4" cable. This system uses control voltage internally for super fast response to your playing gestures. It includes an EWI3020 controller, the EWI3030m rack mount PCM module, an EWI connecting cable, and the wonderful Patchman Music EWI3030m Volume 1 soundbank (a $50 value) pre-installed and backed up on CD ROM. Yamaha MFC1 MIDI Footpedal
The Yamaha MFC1 is a nice and simple, yet versatile, MIDI foot pedal. It allows you to send MIDI Program Change messages in any order. You can pre-arrange your favorites program change numbers and other MIDI data into a Chain which can then be stepped through in order using your feet. This leaves your hands free to play your instrument. Any program change number from 0 to 127 can be assigned to a place in the Chain or a value for an optional Footswitch and Footpedal plugged into the rear of the Yamaha MFC1. MIDI Start, Stop, and Continue can also be assigned. The MFC1 does NOT support MIDI Bank Select messages so you can access patches only within a single bank on your synth. A Chain can consist of up to 20 steps and there are 4 Chains in the MFC1. To get the most out of this pedal, you will want to add your own standard footswitch (such as the Yamaha FC4 or FC5) and continuous footpedal (such as the Yamaha FC7). Both are available here from Patchman Music.
